ICSTM covers scientific research, experimental development, innovation and technology transfer, consultancy, expertise, training and professional development in the areas of scientific competence of UVT, based on human and material resources of the research centers.

The specific objectives of the ICSTM are:

• Increase of individual and global scientific production;
• Transfer of the research results to the economic sector, development of prototypes, innovation of product / process;
• Development of human and material resources of the research centers;
• Accreditation of the research centers through specific procedures at institutional, national or international level;
• Increasing the performance indicators of the research centers;
