Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Science and Technology from Valahia University of Targoviste, with acronym ICSTM-UVT, was founded by Senate Decision on September 25, 2003.

ICSTM-UVT is an independent professional organization, apolitical and non-governmental, with UVT juridical dependence, that aims to bring together the university personnel and experts from different fields for accomplishment and implementaion of national and international research and development projects and partnerships with different possible beneficiaries.
ICSTM is hosted in a new facility built especialy for its use and purpose. The building is a result of a project founded by European Structural Founds won in competition. (More details on the projects site: http://916.icstm.ro)
